Contracts:
IDS-Scheer expertise is still hot for us. We are also looking for another BI person, but this time in the dashboard / KPI area. Someone who's got good experience in designing and developing dashboards with products like Corda Centerview (primary), Business Objects Excelsius (secondary), Cognos or Microstrategy. This is a different requirement from the Business Objects data integration requirements we listed before: SOA and BI people for both perm and contract positions - work mostly with the 128 belt; also .Net contractors; also people with business process modeling (BPM) experience, particularly using a tool from IDS-Scheer call Aris (probably SAP or Oracle backgrounds).

Our favorite Boston-area client needs both engineers and an architect - all around the Boston area; we have placed the head of development and a programmer recently. In additional Python any of the following add value: Internet and Web aps, large database manipulation skill, Open Source. As I have mentioned before these are permanent, full-time position, non telecommute; clients will consider contractors making a change to more stable work lives.

Another local client wants to meet folks for their S/W Ops Manager and super strong Python and Perl and who has system administration experience.

We have a client in Manhattan which builds financial applications seeking experience with C/C++ and Java, as well as Perl, Python, and other scripting languages. Candidates should have a 3.5+ GPA from top-tier schools and have high scores on their quantitative tests. Openings in Cupertino as well.

In Waltham we need THREE Software Engineers with C#/MS SQL Server - Web Development - 5 years experience minimum - 6 figures possible.

Here is a Tewksbury Director-level opening, mid six-figures. Needs: BS or equivalent plus 15+ years of progressive technical and managerial experience, including 5+ years of senior level software development management

Telecommuters! Senior Graphic Designer - superior graphics ability as well as previous leadership experience of creative teams; be capable of developing new and innovative design concepts with minimal guidance.

These positions are combination Professional Services/Customer Support types who implement & customize software solutions for large clients – but they are NOT traveling positions. SQL programming, some development skills (XML, ASP, ASP.NET, C# and web services, etc) but not a lot, and the ability to be customer-facing - up to 6 figures on these as well. Experience with Business Objects (Crystal Server/Reports) is very helpful.
