Finally these openings are still very hot:
3)A friend has asked me to conduct a search for two positions, the first is Vice President of Sales for his firm (soon moving to Cambridge). The company builds technology to combat the counterfeit pharmaceutical trade. The VP of Sales is responsible for selling the company's solution directly to the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies.
You (or someone your refer) will develop and maintain relationships with the target customers to drive the company's sales to them on a global basis. You will have complete responsibility for your customer relationships and will be held accountable for total account sales, margins and overall relationship status. Reviewing market analyses, you will determine customer needs, sales volume potential, and pricing schedules that will meet the company's goals. Then you will implement a sales program of your own design leveraging both existing company relationships and new ones you will develop.
You will need to display great initiative and independence, together with strong organizational, relationship building and interpersonal skills. This includes identifying, contacting, and meeting key decision makers and educating them on the strategic value added by adopting the client's services. You will also have input into overall sales strategy and execution both with customers and strategic partners and will contribute significantly to determining how the company's services are marketed.
This full-time role requires significant travel, both domestically and internationally.
4) The second opening is for Service Delivery Manager who will be responsible for working with customers to help coordinate initial service implementation and ongoing service delivery. You, or someone you refer, will develop and maintain relationships with the customers to ensure their satisfaction. Working closely with customers you will guide them in maximizing the benefits they derive from our client's services. In addition you will help to improve service offering by identifying and evaluating opportunities for improvement.
You will need to display great initiative and independence, together with strong organizational, relationship building and interpersonal skills. This includes proactively resolving issues before they arise and promptly addressing customer needs. You will also have input into the overall service delivery and will contribute significantly to determining how the company's services are implemented. Through your involvement in both pre-sale and post-sales discussions with customers you will also have an effect on the future R&D of company services. The hiring manager is looking for candidates who have at least some technical expertise, but more important is a track record of interfacing successfully with prospective and existing customers in a SaaS environment, especially if you have worked with customers who have titles such as "brand manager" at pharmaceutical companies' sales or marketing departments.
This full-time role is based in Boston and may require some travel, both domestically and internationally
I look forward to hearing of your interest or of someone you think you be a great fit for this firm.
Best regards,
Patrick Mertens
