1) A former boss started a company some 20 years ago; we have filled positions there and now have another one. My friend's company is a global market leader in the provision of Web-based content management and workflow solutions for scholarly publishers.

We are looking for an Account Coordinator to guide customers through the implementation of their software, as well as provide ongoing support.

It is the Account Coordinator's responsibility to assist customers in configuring and using products to work with their editorial and publishing workflow. Account Coordinators troubleshoot and track customer questions and suggestions related to the set up and subsequent use of the software.

As this position does have growth potential, we are looking for a candidate capable of managing large publisher accounts, as well as someone with a strong interest in exploring new developments in the STM publishing community.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain direct contact with customers and troubleshoot software-related issues that they and their end-users may experience
Coordinate implementation of customer data
Scheduling and implementation of system training
Perform software testing, and recreate system problems the customer may experience
Act as intermediary between customers, Product Management, and the Engineering staff
Manage all projects for assigned customers, such as feature requests, custom reports, ongoing training needs, custom tutorials, etc.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Basic understanding of web environment and computer skills a must
Knowledge of multiple computer platforms and internet browsers a plus
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage through competing priorities
Highly flexible and diplomatic
Ability to work in a team environment

Desired Experience
2-3 years experience working in a customer service-related field or in an editorial office. Experience in the scholarly publishing industry is extremely beneficial, but not required.

This is a special request. Some very nice people I know work at a company in Framingham which has asked me to help fill an urgent need. I will provide more details to those qualified, but here is a snapshot:

They need a DB developer with experience in CRM, client data analysis, data transformation development, data aggregating and summarizing for reporting purposes, customizing and deploying 3rd-party products, applications testing, end-user support and ongoing operations support.

Minimum requirements

· 2+ Years experience including full life-cycle implementation

· Strong SQL skills (preferably Oracle) including understanding of:

o In-line table queries

o Nested/Correlated queries

o Outer / Inner joins

o SQL functions

· Unix / Linux scripting experience (Perl, Shell, Python)

· UNIX / Windows administration, support

· Application design, testing and support experience

· Some programming experience (Java, PHP,C/C++)

· Oracle DB design, performance tuning, administration

· Perl Experience including DBI/DBD module

· VLDB design, support in a DSS environment

· Database striping setup, support

3) ALSO: Looking for a candidate who has experience with Thermo-Fisher's Nautilus LIMS system and its programming environment, full-time or contract/
