a) One of our very best clients - in Newton - has asked us to identify candidates who are ready to make a move - for a senior developer opening in the area of GUI - you must have at least XML, XSL, HTML, JavaScript, User Interface, RIA technology (preferably Flex / ActionScript.) Very nice compensation possible.
You should have at least 3 years experience developing user interfaces (GUIs) and who has experience with these concepts: object-oriented programming, XML/XSLT, JSP/HTML/JavaScript,Flex/Action Script, and eCommerce. You should also have a working knowledge of at least one Java Application server and n-tier architectures, Weblogic or Websphere. Please note you should have an excellent command the English language, written and oral.

b) The client from Avon is now in need of the opposite of the above: a software developer with expertise in systems management software -- including UI. Must have Java experience, be familiar with management infrastructure/protocols (for example CIM, SNMP, WBEM). A management developer who also had Web development experience would be ideal. They say that Web and/or JavaScript developers tend not to have the right management experience! This position has a compensation package which confirms my supply-and-demand thought in the first paragraph.
