(we also have a need for .Net contractors for the next Quarter) This position is primarily responsible for coding, testing, debugging and documenting new and existing business application systems in a .Net programming and operations environment.
5) *web applications developer* in Lexington - 4+ years of experience building and deploying medium-large scale web based applications using Tomcat(or similar) and PHP and Apache on Linux (LAMP stack), relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
6) Boxboro - tech support opening looking for background and experience with TCPIP Protocol. Working knowledge of Linux with the ability to configure, build, and maintain applications servers.
7) Waltham client needs a *Ecommerce Marketplace Evangelist *(not normally our thing), but is a s/w client... 1-2+ years previous evangelism or community management experience with at least 2 years of first-hand experience as an eBay seller or Amazon WebStore owner and 3 or more years work experience as a software developer, designer, or product manager for relevant ecommerce, email, or internet marketing web technologies.
8) Wireless developer client in Waltham (close to Brandeis, and Watertown, so on public transpo: needs a hands-on QA Engineer, using the open source special server, open source...write test scripts, schedule and exit it, test code, etc...this pays around 70-80K... This is a Linux shop, Java development language, and they use Open Source free Automation tools.
9) Same client is looking for a sw development manager... nice pay too.
10 ) Telecommuting: an entry level Account Manager, marketing department, managing accounts and creative assets as well as helping to drive new marketing campaigns. Needs a good understanding of all online advertising models; CPA, CPL, CPM, CPC, and PPC.
11) This one could be a telecommute position as well: customer service manager: needs multiple years experience managing large teams of 20 or more people, computer proficiency, specifically Mac OS X. 12) Release engineer needed in Boston: preferred skills: J2EE, Maven, Subversion, but must have Java.
CONTRACTS in the Greater Boston area:
A) Data Quality / Data Integration (DI / DQ) Our biggest need here is people with hands-on experience with the Business Objects toolset, particularly Data Quality (formerly FirstLogic). We need folks with that hands-on experience.
B) Good DBAs with high-end ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Seibel, PeopleSoft). These folks could serve in DBA or DQ / DQ roles.
C) Business Process Management (BPM). Specifically, hands-on experience the Aris product (Business Modeler, Architect) from IDS-Scheer.
D) Service Oriented Architecture expert familiar with latest IT architectural directions and related standards (i.e.- SOA) and a minimum of 5 years previous job experience in enterprise architecture preferably in the government sector
